I am so excited to be part of the amazing and compassionate community at Healing Passages Birth & Wellness Center!

I grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but always had a desire to be out west, surrounded by nature and mountains. This led me to the University of Montana in Missoula where I received my BA in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Sustainable Food and Agriculture.

After graduating, I moved back to the Midwest and landed a wonderful job in Des Moines, where I had an opportunity to pursue my love of food and nutrition. I worked at a small business as a Health Coach and received certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition while working with hundreds of clients to help them achieve their optimal health and weight loss goals.

After several years of health coaching, I knew I wanted to remain in the wellness industry. But my soul craved the opportunity to see what else was out there. Although I do not yet have children of my own, I was eager and curious to learn more about the options surrounding holistic care for women and childbirth. This is what led me to Healing Passages Birth & Wellness Center.

After my first week, I attended an orientation and had chills the entire time hearing Cosette speak. I knew I found the exact place that I needed to be! I am so excited to learn more about the process of birth, meet some wonderful families and be part of such a loving community.
In my free time, I love going to antique stores and garage sales. I am very much a homebody and love spending time in our 1920s house decorating, organizing and doing projects! I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and love working outside and being in nature. I also enjoy listening to great music and spending time with my wonderful husband, Tom and our two dogs — Koda and Thor.
