I am a mother of three boys, and have been married to my husband Mike for over thirteen years. I joined the Willowsong community in 2009 while expecting my third child, and was overjoyed at the amazing care I received, and the beautiful birth I experienced. The opportunity to meet other women within the Willowsong community has afforded me many friendships over the past several years, and it is those relationships that encouraged me to facilitate the women’s Wisdom Circle so that other women encounter that same space for connections!
I have a graduate degree in cultural anthropology and currently work part-time doing consulting on various research projects. I am an avid lover of the outdoors and of conservation education, and recently received my certification as a Master Conservationist. I have lived in three other countries and can still speak a fair amount of Spanish. I am a total foodie snob about coffee, beer, chocolate, and…okay, most food. I love all things local! And I really dig having downtime at home, to garden, snuggle my cats, and be with my family. I am privileged to be a part of the vision that is Willowsong, and to help foster the village connections through Wisdom Circle each month.
